Hi Guys!

It's been a long time since I've been around here, hope everyone is ok :-)

I've recently got into playing Star Trek Online since it went free to play and I'm loving it. Was thinking of possibly using it in the future (once i get more used to it) to ressurect my old fan fiction series Star Trek: Monet or starting something new

Do any of you guys play it?

Nope, played a demo of it long ago before it was free, wasn't interested, but then again most MMO's these days don't interest me. But I'd definitely read Monet if you started it up again :)

I'm getting quite into it actually, when I get a chance to play it of course. I'm still trying to figure out how I could use it for Monet, I need to play around a bit more

I don´t played STO until now but, as a free option, believe I can give it a try. Just need to find enough freetime.... I was looking for a way porting the STO ships to Studio max just to serve as a base for my high polly meshes, with no lucky, when a friend teached me how to do it. :) Maybe a Bridge Commander version would be an option. :)
ANT, a good way for you to use STO in the revamp of the Monet, could be to put the ship inside the game, but I don´t know how to do it...

In time: is cool to see some life and a few known faces here. Ant, Mike, Kataar....
I was already thinking that just me and Nitz were still alive.

I bought that before I realized the game was really lousy. It was bad when it first came out but I just spend an hour doing missions and I think they've improved it a lot. At least the ground combat isn't insanely boring. The space combat still weird to me, it takes forever to break any bad guys.

A lifetime membership?! Wow lol

I tried adding you as friend Kenny but it came back with unknown user, my handle on there is cpthowe if anyone wants to add me

I'm still getting used to everything on there, the ground combat is good and like you say Kenny, space combat is a bit weird and it does seem to take forever to kill a bad guy some times

Starship - I'd love to put the Monet in the game, that would be cool. Don't think there's a way to do that though unfortunately :( I guess I could break out Bridge Commander and use that too. My idea for using STO was to do kinda comic strip style, like Steve did with Star Wars Galaxies back in the day (Exen Dar Chronicles I think it was called?)
