Post subject:  A world of witchcraft and wizardry

I'm working in the game engine Unity. I've decided to use it to built a magic world MMO. I don't expect it to go anywhere, but it's a good way to learn the program. So I've started to build meshes for this game.

Here's two "vehicles":

Some other stuff I'm going to model for this project.

A small town with wizard style shops.
Some people.
Some creatures.

For the creatures I want to make one or more of the following:
Bat
Cat
Dog
Dragon
Frog
Horse
Owl
Troll
Unicorn

I will be rigging the creatures and people up for game animation and figure out the best way to have changeable clothing for the characters.

Everything is going to be lower polygon.

If anyone is interested in learning Unity, this tutorial is what I'm following for the style of game this wizard game is going to be. They're short videos that cover one game feature at a time.

I'm messing with the human form in LW right now. Trying to build a detailed yet low polygon person. I haven't done much organics before so this is new. I'll show it off later.

I just found out there's a free version of the Unreal Engine for people to mess with. I'm downloading it now and will be playing with it a bit.

Looks cool! Think Unreal engine is free now. You only have to pay if your making more than a few thousand a month selling games.
